McBride Receives NATO DIANA Award, Reinforcing Its Role in Allied Innovation and Mission Readiness

McLean, VA – July 2025 – McBride, a leading provider of mission-focused consulting and technology services, has received a prime award under NATO’s Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA), Advisory and Assistance Services (AAS) contract. This recognition places McBride amongst a select group of global innovators—and notably, the only U.S.-based company to receive a prime contract.

Based in London (UK), Tallinn (Estonia), and Halifax (Canada), McBride’s work will directly support NATO’s technological edge by applying the firm’s strengths in cybersecurity, digital transformation, and mission-driven engineering to deliver rapid, scalable solutions for today’s defense challenges.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our people and the impact of our work,” said Dan Obermeier, Managing Director – Public Sector Leader at McBride. “We’re focused on delivering real-world capabilities that help our partners move faster, adapt smarter, and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex environment.”

At a time when many firms are scaling back or losing ground in the international defense space, McBride continues to expand its presence across NATO programs. McBride’s participation under this prestigious coalition builds on its growing NATO portfolio, including its role as a prime contractor under the $500M Advisory and Assistance Services (AAS+) framework supporting the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) and other alliance stakeholders with locations in Brussels (Belgium), The Hague (The Netherlands), and Lisbon (Portugal). The firm also supports NATO’s Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in Norfolk, VA (USA), delivering data analysis and project management support.
